33 km southeast of Shiraz a saline lake lies. The northern stripe of this lake is a solitary beautiful area, and the southern stripe has the amenities of boating available. In this tour you will have a full day ride on horseback along the northern border to visit some historical-religious sites. In the evening, enjoy boating on the lake and witness the beautiful sunset scenery.

This tour is offered to professional horse riders.

Itinerary

At 6 a.m. depart Shiraz for Kaftarak. En route, visit Dast Khezr (15 min) and have breakfast near Barm-e Delak (30 min). Then visit Takht-e Abu Nasr (15 min) and start riding from Kaftarak to Kheir Abad (5 hrs). Amid the way, have a stop in Goshnekan village to eat lunch. Transfer from Kheir Abad to the boating wharf and boat on the lake (1:30 hrs). Finally return to Shiraz.
