177 km east of Shiraz neighboring the city of Estahban is a charming strait suitable for tourists who are fond of trekking in nature and enjoying intact natural sceneries.

2. Saffron farms in Estahban (upon availability)

3. Sassanid castle in Sarvestan

 

Itinerary:

Early in the morning depart to Estahban (177 km, 2:30 hrs), visit Sarvestan castle en route (1 hr) and if possible the Saffron farms of Estahban (1 hr). Trek in the Lay Tarik Strait (3 hrs) and then return to Shiraz (3 hrs).
