In the west and south of Shiraz near the two cities of Kazeroun and Firouz Abad lie the remnants of Bishapour and Goor, the two Sassanid cities of which a great number of historical monuments still remain. Being home to many scenic natural vistas, fauna and flora, the road covering Shiraz-Kazeroun-Farrashband-Firouz Abad-Shiraz is an excellent natural collection. The nomads who migrate along this road or habit there in different seasons are another big plus of this direction.
If you feel energetic enough to travel 400 km just in a day and pay visit to several monuments, this exceptional tour is highly recommended considering the historical-natural aspects of Fars province.
