Amazing historical attractions of Fars (Ghal'e Sefid castle)

Ghal'e Sefid, an ancient castle constructed in a mountain, is located 163 km west of Shiraz, next to Noor Abad city. Over centuries this castle was used as a prison in hands of great kings such as Lotf Ali Khan-e Zand. Many great events happened in this prison over the years. Visiting this castle is worthy in regards to the historical background as well as an eco-touring experiences. For the latter you can spend some pleasant moments wandering in the Zagros Mountains.
